Life in 90% Black Jackson, MS: New Black Power Mayor Promises it will be "Most Radical City on the Planet"

Imagine the worst city in America.

Before you do, envision every great white American from pre-World War II who warned what would happen if what has happened in nearly 90 percent black Jackson, Mississippi transpired.

We've explored Jackson before, a city without a movie theater and yet the capital of the state of Mississippi.

New Afrika

The fears of men like Thomas Jefferson, John Jay, and all those who participated in the peaceful solution expounded by the American Colonization Society (ACS) knew the world of 2017 Jackson, Mississippi would be born when white people were supplanted.

Africa in America.

It's a dystopia where black lives don't matter, even though primarily black people are the only individuals living in Jackson.

[Mayor-elect Lumumba: Jackson 'to be the most radical city on the planet', Jackson Clarion-Ledger, June 12, 2017]:

Mayor-elect Chokwe Antar Lumumba talked about making Jackson "the most radical city on the planet" Friday at the People's Summit in Chicago.
The word "radical" is not unfamiliar to the 34-year-old attorney and son of late-Mayor Chokwe Lumumba, whose agenda, which he has adopted, is built on economic democracy.
The mayor-elect talked about that very term — the misconceptions and truths tied to it — with The Clarion-Ledger editorial board in April before the primary.
"Chokwe Lumumba is a pretty tough name. And people don't know what that means," he said lightly. "I'm confronted with people, 'He's Muslim! He's this!' Not to disparage anyone's faith, but I'm Christian. Lumumba is a Christian African name. There are things that people are concerned about based on the history of when my father was here in the 70s. Guess who was not here in the 70s? I wasn't thought of at that time. And it was a different time. We can all agree that people on both sides of some of the friction can admit that things should have been taken care of in a different fashion. That has no reflection on who Chokwe Antar Lumumba is."
A young Lumumba Sr. came to Jackson in the 1970s alongside the Republic of New Afrika with goals of creating a separate nation through black liberation and self-determination. The history evokes a particular scene in which Jackson police officers, tear gas and a tank in tow, attempted to raid a house where RNA members lived, prompting a shootout. Lt. William Louis Skinner was killed. Lumumba Sr. was not at the house. He eventually helped found the New Afrika People's Organization, from which grew the Malcolm X Grassroots movement. The mayor-elect is a "proud member" of MXGM.
"I'm not trying to push people away from anything. I'm passionate because I'm passionate about people's lives. I believe in human rights for human beings," Lumumba told The Clarion-Ledger board. "l'm critiqued for things just because of my background that if you think about it really intently, you would find that it's nothing that pushes anybody away. When I say 'People's Assemblies,' or I say 'we want to put people before politics,' I've had people ask me, 'Well, who are the people?' Well, if you're living, breathing, need water and food like I do, then I'm talking about you."
"I believe that's what people should understand about me, that I'm an inclusive person," Lumumba continued. "Beyond that, I'm not afraid of the term 'radical.' I'll embrace the term radical. Because when I look in history and I see all the people who have been called radicals — Martin Luther King was called a radical. Jesus Christ was called a radical. I believe that a radical is someone who cares enough about circumstances that they want to see a change, and if you look outside of these walls, and you see a need for a change in this community, in this city, then we all need to be prepared to be as radical as the circumstances dictate we should be."

Nearly 90 percent black Jackson, Mississippi is now led by a devout black nationalist, intent on creating a New Afrika in America.

But remember: this population is incapable of collectively creating the conditions where a movie theater can stay operational.

The community individual blacks have helped collectively create in close to 90 percent black Jackson truly is Africa in America.

Every stereotype white America has of blacks is on display in Jackson, Mississippi, a city replete with racial realities long ago established as truth in America, but now blamed on white supremacy/white privilege/systemic racism/implicit bias.

Hard to be the "most radical city on the planet" when the citizens lack the social capital (and purchasing power) to keep alive a movie theater...

Between 2009-2016, Taxpayers Shelled Out $447 million to Pay Medical Bills for Almost Entirely Nonwhite Victims of Nonwhite Gun crime in Chicago

The 2nd Amendment was never intended to protect the right of nonwhites to "keep and bear arms."

A simple consultation of the Naturalization Act of 1790 will make quite clear who the founding fathers intended to be citizens of the United States and just whom the Bill of Rights protected.

Which brings us to the dystopia of 2017 Chicago. Second City Confidential: The Black Experience in Chicago tells the story of the black contribution to Chicago, but a shocking new study of the cost of almost exclusively black (and brown) gun violence in the city shows just why we need to revert back to the founding fathers original intentions of both citizenships and who was covered by the Bill of Rights.
Realistically, outlaw nonwhites from private firearm ownership (as founding fathers intended) and make the punishment for nonwhites possessing an illegally obtained firearm life in jail or worse

Taxpayers (largely white taxpayers) shelled out "$447 million to treat some 12,000 documented victims of gun violence in the city [almost all black or brown people] between 2009 and mid-2016." [The bill for treating a gunshot wound: $21,000 for the first 35 minutes, Chicago Tribune, July 21, 2017]:

The charges started racking up the moment Annette Johnson arrived at Mount Sinai Hospital with a gunshot wound to her left forearm.
Doctors sliced open Johnson's arm and installed a $500 metal plate to shore up her shattered ulna, securing it with numerous bone screws that cost $246 apiece. There were morphine drips to quell pain, tetanus shots to prevent infection, blood screens and anesthesia.
For both Johnson and Leyva, just two of the thousands of gunshot victims in Chicago every year, the first hours and days of their hospital treatment were only the start of what would be costly recoveries that continue to this day.
Still, the bills for their initial treatment were staggering. In his first 35 minutes at the hospital, Leyva had racked up $21,521 in charges, and by the time he was released three weeks later the bill totaled more than $157,000. For Johnson, who spent barely 24 hours at Mount Sinai, the hospital charges approached $27,000.
An unprecedented analysis of state data by the Tribune reveals that the initial medical costs for treating Chicago gunshot victims like Johnson and Leyva add up to tens of millions of dollars each year. And those costs are rising.
The data — obtained by the Tribune after months of negotiation with public officials — show that Chicago-area hospitals billed more than $447 million to treat some 12,000 documented victims of gun violence in the city between 2009 and mid-2016.
And even that figure represents just a fraction of the total billed. While the hospitals charge for room and board as well as equipment and drugs, the surgeons, anesthesiologists and other medical professionals who treat gunshot victims in emergency rooms across the city typically bill separately.
The data show that the victims who bear the physical and emotional scars of being shot live mostly in economically depressed and racially segregated neighborhoods.
But the financial burden of caring for survivors of gunshot wounds extends well beyond neighborhood boundaries, according to the Tribune analysis.
In fact, patients who live in poverty and are insured through the publicly funded Medicaidand Medicare programs account for nearly half of the costs analyzed by the Tribune.
Dr. Amir Vafa, chief of trauma surgery and critical care at Mount Sinai, said the violence has ripple effects that touch on every aspect of the city in some way regardless of where it happens.
"It is not a 'me' or a 'you.' It's an 'us,'" Vafa said in an interview at the hospital, which serves largely black and Hispanic neighborhoods on the city's West Side. "We are all in this together. The reality is the entire fabric of society is connected, right? Nobody lives in an absolute bubble."
Taxpayers' burden
Putting an accurate price tag on what it costs to treat all victims of gun violence in Chicago is nearly impossible. Hospitals aren't required to note whether they've treated victims of firearm assaults, and the powerful gun lobby has successfully stifled research on gun violence at the federal level. Privacy laws also limit the types of data that the government is willing to release.
The data released to the Tribune represent more than 11,800 patient visits involving gunshot victims in Chicago, only an estimated two-thirds of the known shooting victims during the 7 1/2-year time frame studied.
The figures also don't reflect the amount ultimately paid by patients or taxpayers — a fraction of what the hospitals billed.
Private insurance companies negotiate payments based on treatment, and patients who pay out-of-pocket or have no insurance also can negotiate. Medicaid and Medicare pay using a set fee schedule for procedures and hospital stays.
All together, the Tribune conservatively estimated that hospitals typically get paid about 30 percent of what they bill.
The data indicate that charges from area hospitals rose significantly over the 7 1/2-year span.
Hospital charges in 2009 for patients admitted in Chicago totaled $41.6 million. In 2015, the last complete year of data, hospital charges added up to a combined $62 million. Many categories of charges contributed to that increase, including charges for operating rooms and anesthesiology, both of which more than doubled.
Back in 2009, gunshot inpatients in Chicago averaged about $57,963 in charges for their hospital stay. Through the first half of last year, inpatients racked up $93,647 on average in hospital charges.
Illinois' hospital charging data also indicate that inpatient stays grew longer, most likely a factor in the escalating charges.
For each year since 2009, the average length of stay in a Chicago hospital for victims of a firearm assault hovered at about a week. For similar inpatients treated in the first half of 2016, the length of stay grew to more than nine days on average.
The breakdown in the types of insurance used by hospital inpatients makes clear that the financial burden of the medical costs associated with gun violence often falls on taxpayers, not the victims.
Nearly half of the amount for treating inpatients after a firearm assault was billed to taxpayer-funded Medicaid and, less often, Medicare. Less than one-quarter of inpatients were insured through commercial insurance or HMOs, and others either were self-pay or insured in some other way.
The data are further confirmation of how skewed gun violence is along racial and socio-economic lines. Nearly two-thirds of the hospital inpatients treated for injuries suffered as a result of firearm assault were black males ages 15 to 44, the data showed.
Sorry Chicago Tribune, but the data doesn't "show that the victims who bear the physical and emotional scars of being shot live mostly in economically depressed and racially segregated neighborhoods."

It shows gun violence is almost exclusively committed in areas devoid of white people, and that in areas devoid of nonwhites, there is almost no gun violence.

And yet, taxpayers (largely white taxpayers) shelled out "$447 million to treat some 12,000 documented victims of gun violence in the city [almost all black or brown people] between 2009 and mid-2016."

$447 million would pay for significant infrastructure improvements to the city of Chicago (making it a more attractive place for middle-class families), instead of being allocated to pay for the medical costs of nonwhites inability to stop shooting one another... all mind you, in the absence of white people.

This is just one city, a micro look at where nonwhite gun violence and the costs to medically care for nonfatal gunshot victims (as in Chicago, these are almost axiomatically nonwhite), are reaching fiduciary insanity.

Memphis, Baltimore, Washington D.C., Philadelphia, Atlanta, New Orleans, Detroit, Milwaukee... we are talking in the billions each year of taxpayer money misappropriated to pay for the folly of 2nd Amendment rights being extended to nonwhites.

Never mind many of these nonfatal shooting incidents in Chicago involve an illegal obtained gun - only showing how superfluous strict gun laws are in stopping the proliferation of firearms by criminals - because our founding fathers were quite explicit upon who 2nd Amendment rights protected.

Just consult the Naturalization Act of 1790.

In the meantime, keep paying your taxes: medical bills for nonwhite victims of nonwhite, nonfatal gun crime are piling up, up and up!

In 28% Black Indianapolis, a Funeral Procession for Slain Black Female Interrupted by Black Gunman Leaving Three Blacks Wounded

Imagine living in a 28 percent black city, where almost all the violent crime is committed by this minority population group and yet the police dedicate taxpayer resources to "bridge the gap that often exists between young African-American men and law enforcement." [This IMPD sergeant spent a month undercover at a summer camp, Indy Star, July 11, 2017]

What ends up happening?

Black gang members open fire on a funeral procession, shooting more than 20 rounds and injuring three people. [3 people, including alleged gang leader, shot during funeral procession for Jasmine Moore, Fox59.com, July 20, 2017]:
Police say three people were shot at a northeast side cemetery Thursday during a funeral procession for a recent murder victim.
Police responded to the 4000 block of Millersville Road around 4 p.m. Thursday after at least 20 shots were fired.
The shooting happened during the procession for Jasmine Moore, 28, who was killed last week in a shooting on the west side outside of Long’s Bakery. As the procession approached Southerland Park Cemetery, men in a white GMC or Chevrolet pickup truck opened fire.
One of the victims has been identified as Richard Grundy III, the alleged leader of a local drug gang. He is Moore’s cousin.
Two women were also injured in the shooting. Police say one was shot in the head and the other was shot in the leg. All of the victims are expected to survive.
Property damage was also reported to homes and at least four cars.
“How dare you not respect his family?” Asked witness Jordan Easton. “Give them some peace and let them breathe. Respect them. Respect their privacy.”
Easton said children and their mothers were hitting the ground as shots rang out.
“This city is wicked. This city needs to be prayed over. This city needs help,” said Easton. “I’m thankful that I go to school out of town but I would just tell anybody that has the opportunity to leave Indianapolis, leave.”
In 2014, Grundy was jailed along with several associates as investigators sought to break up what they described as a murderous drug ring.
Those murder charges against Grundy were dropped and other charges against his associates were reduced. Grundy still faces counts of drug dealing, corrupt business influence and criminal gang charges. He's currently free on bond on a related case and drug charges out of Texas.
Grundy was thought to be the target of that shooting as retaliation for the murder of a man in Zionsville this spring.
"This is something that will not be tolerated anywhere in the city, said IMPD officer Jim Gillespie. "When we have multiple people shot it raises concerns that we are not going to slide by in any case, so they can expect quick justice on this."
Indianapolis is not a wicked city.

Indianapolis doesn't need to be prayed over.

Indianapolis doesn't need help.

In 1990, Indianapolis was nearly 80 percent white.

Today, the white population hovers around 58 percent, while the black population of the city - 28 percent - produces individuals who open fire on a funeral procession (as well as a 15-year-old who kills three black males in another episode of the endless "cycle of violence" black clergy/community leaders rail against).

Jim Crow and segregation wasn't about supremacy or discrimination. It was simply about protecting white people and their posterity from... the type of behavior found in Indianapolis courtesy of its 28 percent black population.

Her Name is Justine Damond: Why are there Somalians in America?

We have resettled 1.2 percent of the entire population of Somalia to the United States of America.

Why?

To deliberately destroy social capital?
Dead by diversity: a white immigrant killed by a Somali diversity hire in the Minneapolis Police Department...

Why?

To ask the question is to know the answer. [Somali immigrant cop Mohamed Noor, who shot Justine Damond, was 'highly celebrated' by Minneapolis mayor in 2015, Fox News, 7-18-17]:
The Somali-born Minnesota police officer alleged to have shot and killed an unarmed Australian woman on Saturday had been lauded by Minneapolis’ mayor and feted by the local community when he joined the force in 2015.
“I want to take a moment to recognize Officer Mohamed Noor, the newest Somali officer in the Minneapolis Police Department,” Mayor Betsy Hodges wrote in a Facebook post when Noor began serving the city. “Officer Noor has been assigned to the 5th Precinct, where his arrival has been highly celebrated, particularly by the Somali community in and around Karmel Mall.”
In fact, The Washington Post reported that community threw a party for Noor – the first Somali-American officer to serve in the precinct. Minneapolis is home to one of the nation's largest Somali communities.
“He came to the United States at a young age and is thankful to have had so many opportunities,” Thomas Plunkett, Noor’s attorney, said Monday. “…For him, being a police officer is a calling.”
Unarmed Australian white woman, Fox News. Fixed it for you.

When I saw Blackhawk Down in theaters, my immediate reaction was, "we should have absolute nothing to do with that nation and do everything possible to keep Somalians from coming to the USA."

Those in control of not just our foreign policy but migration/immigration/resettlement policy decided they wanted to encourage 1.2 percent of the entire population of Somalia to come to America...

Remember when Minnesota Governor Mark Dayton blasted white Minnesota citizens who were worried about massive immigration/demographic change in the state (largely due to Somali resettlement)?

Here's what he said“Our economy cannot expand based on white, B+, Minnesota-born citizens. We don’t have enough."

Justine Damond, the 40-year-old white woman from Australia, called police to report a suspected rape. The last thing this immigrant (not just some "B+, Minnesota-born citizen") would see on earth was a Somali police officer pointing a gun at her.

Why are there Somalians in America again?

Police Working to Stop Black Crime in Maryland via... Sailing?

What happens when your city is crippled by black crime

What do you do?

Sadly, the St. Louis Police Department has sunk to a new low.

Because black people commit crime so indiscriminately and frequently in St. Louis, police interact with individuals of this violence-prone community far more often than with the white community; thus is born Operation Polar Cops... [St. Louis Police Department unveils 'Operation Polar Cops' truck, KMOV.com, July 26, 2016]
Another attempt to stop black crime: police bonding with black youth through... sailing

We thought this was a new low for police trying to deter black criminality.

We were wrong. [Anne Arundel, Annapolis police build bonds with community through sailing, Baltimore Sun, July 18, 2017]:
Nabila Hinton isn’t quite sure how she feels about the police.
From her perspective, police officers seem to be about locking people up. But even so, the 14-year-old girl said she’s a fan of Cpl. Allen Marcus, who spent the weekend sailing with her on the Chesapeake Bay.
Officers from the Anne Arundel County and Annapolis police departments paired up with Chesapeake Region Accessible Boating to lead about 15 kids through a weekend sailing camp.
“When some of these kids are coming up, all they know is that nobody likes the police,” said Marcus, a 16-year veteran of the Anne Arundel department. “Now they have the chance to see us in another light — to see that we do care about them.”
Chesapeake Region Accessible Boating — or CRAB — has been running the free camp for a few years, executive director Paul Bollinger said. The group aims to provide people with disabilities, wounded veterans and disadvantaged youth opportunities to get out onto the water.
Volunteers showed the kids how to steer the boats and tie complex knots, and went over the names of the different parts of the boat.
Before heading out on the water Sunday morning, Bollinger drew a sketch of a sail boat on a dry-erase board and encouraged the kids to shout out when he was pointing to the jib, tiller or keel.
“Many of these kids have never been out on the Chesapeake Bay, which is the greatest natural resource in Maryland,” Bollinger said. “They build confidence, expand their knowledge and learn how to work as a team.”
And the bonds built with officers are of paramount importance, he said.
“When they go back into their communities and see police, it’s not ‘uh oh,’ but rather, ‘look who’s here,’” Bollinger said.
The officers picked the kids up from their homes each morning and drove them to Sandy Point State Park in their marked police cars. Eleven-year-old Justice Spiker said he enjoyed the car ride because Officer Brian Slattery let him play with the lights and use the radar gun.
“Camps like these show we’re not all about arresting people or beating them up,” Slattery said. “We’re the same as everyone else. It might give the kids the chance to see we like to have fun, too.”
On Sunday, the camp attendees employed the skills they learned the day before and took to the water to race against against each other.
Each boat was filled by a few kids, a police officer and a CRAB volunteer. The officers and the kids sported the same light-blue T-shirts, topped by life vests.
The group on Marcus’ sail boat struggled to catch a strong wind. The sailors tried different strategies to get moving.
When tensions started to heat up, the officer reminded the three kids onboard that “we’re all a team here.”
Near the end of a race, as their boat fell to second-to-last place, 13-year-old Kani Smith turned to Marcus.
“We should just give up,” he said.
“We never give up,” Marcus responded.
Cue the Styx... "come sail away, come sail away, come sail away with me."

400+ Black Teens in Philadelphia Surround Police Officers in Their Cars, Jumping on Them as Reminder Who Controls City

It's fitting on the day George Romero passed away, this happens.

More police interacting with black criminals equals a greater risk of The Happening occurring.

More police interacting with large numbers of black people, particularly unruly black youth, equals an even greater risk of The Happening occurring. [Hundreds Of Teens Confront Philly Police Following Barbecue At Recreation Center, CBS Philadelphia, 7/17/17]:
What started as a weekend barbecue at a recreation center led to an aggressive encounter with Philadelphia police officers.
Around 400 teens in an unauthorized gathering confronted police outside the Lonnie Young Recreation Center in Germantown Sunday night.
Police say it all began after 6 p.m. When officers arrived, they found the large crowd on the sidewalk and in the street, as most were estimated to be between 12 and 17 years old.
Councilwoman Cindy Bass said the following about the incident Monday: “It is clear that this situation highlights a serious need in the City of Philadelphia. One of the things I hear time and time again from our youth is that they do not have anything to do, especially in the summer. While the City has done a commendable job in providing a wide range of activities and programming, we need to do more. Much more. Could this have been prevented if we had extended recreation center programs into Sunday afternoon/evening? What are we doing to connect our young people to available job opportunities?  As both a councilwoman and chair of the committee that oversees the city’s parks and recreation system, it is my job to figure out what we need and how to get resources directed to those that need it the most.”
Officers said glass bottles were thrown at them. Publicly available videos on social media show the teens surrounding officers in their vehicles, hopping on top of cars and generally taunting police.
Myles Nicholson and his friends had the idea to have a barbecue behind the recreation center. It was meant to be something positive for the community.
“There’s nothing out here for us, but to get in trouble,” said Nicholson. “So we were just trying to make something for everybody to come out and have fun and get together. ”
Police commanders made the decision not to make any arrests, as to not escalate the situation, and the crowd disbursed within in few hours.
“There’s no reported injuries to police, no reported arrests, and there’s no reported injuries to civilians at this time,” Capt. Drew Techner with Philadelphia Police said.
“We closed the Lonnie Young Rec Center for the night after all of this. We’re concerned all the juveniles may re-gather in the same location that they started out.
We for their own safety want them home.”
However, the crowd never did reassemble. Techner also has a message for those responsible for all the young people gathered in Germantown Sunday night.
“Parents need to be aware that when they’re sending their juveniles out,” Techner said. “I know it’s nice to get the fresh air, and be out with their friends on a summer night. But parents have to be aware of what their kids are doing, who they are with, and what they’re getting involved in. They need to be home at a decent hour.”
The teens that hosted the barbecue say they have learned a few lessons after Sunday’s incident.
They want to have another barbecue, and keep something positive going in the community. This time they’re going to try and do it with the city’s help. They are going to reach out and try and get a permit.
Officers said glass bottles were thrown at them. Publicly available videos on social media show the teens surrounding officers in their vehicles, hopping on top of cars and generally taunting police...

More police interacting with black criminals equals a greater risk of The Happening occurring.

More police interacting with large numbers of black people, particularly unruly black youth, equals an even greater risk of The Happening occurring.

On a Sunday night in Philadelphia, The Happening almost happened.

That is how oh-so-close the American experiment is to ending for good.

In 2015 St. Louis - 49% Black/43% White - 98% of Homicide Suspects Non-White

Each year, the City of St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department, releases an Annual Report to the Community. This report breaks down violent crime and the overall percentage of the racial group arrested for each offense (note because of lack of trust with police, many violent crimes/homicides lack suspects. The black community would rather have criminals among them than in jail).
From 2015 annual report from St. Louis Police Department (115 of 117 homicide suspects were non-white)

Remember, out of 318,000 people, St. Louis is 49.2 percent black 43.9 percent white (as of 2010 US Census).

Here's the breakdown for 2015:

  • 84.3% of those arrested for aggravated assault in St. Louis in 2015 were black.
  • 92.6% of those arrested for robbery in St. Louis in 2015 were black.
  • 95% of those arrested for murder in St. Louis in 2015 were black.

  • 72.2% of those arrested for forcible rape in St. Louis in 2015 were black.
  • 79.8% of those arrested for auto theft in St. Louis in 2015 were black
  • 91.6% of those arrested for weapons offenses in St. Louis in 2015 were black
For those wondering, 1999 - 2013 are found here.
From 2014 annual report from St. Louis Police Department: 99% of homicide suspects non-white

Crazier, let's look at 2014:

  • 87.1% of those arrested for aggravated assault in St. Louis in 2014 were black.
  • 93.6% of those arrested for robbery in St. Louis in 2014 were black.
  • 94% of those arrested for murder in St. Louis in 2014 were black.

  • 80.2% of those arrested for forcible rape in St. Louis in 2014 were black.
  • 81.1% of those arrested for auto theft in St. Louis in 2014 were black
  • 90% of those arrested for weapons offenses in St. Louis in 2014 were black
What's crazy about the data for St. Louis is this: the annual report shows 96 of 99 homicide suspects in 2013 were black (97 percent), and 120 of 123 homicide suspect in 2014 were black (98 percent).  For 2015, 112 of 117 homicide suspects were black (96 percent).

Yes, folks, crime has a color in America. Just look to St. Louis for proof of this fact.

In 70% Black Baltimore, Elected Officials Oppose Mandatory One-Year Sentence for Illegal Gun Possession b/c it will "disproportionately impact black people"

If you've read The City that Bleeds: Race, History, and the Death of Baltimoreyou know black people in Baltimore carefully protect their city by using black criminality to keep out white people from ever being a demographic threat to run things again.
"We gave those who wished to destroy space to do that as well..." Now elected officials in 70 percent black Baltimore are protecting black criminals from mandatory one-year sentences for illegal gun possession... because it will impact blacks.

Now imagine this 70 percent black having black elected officials - representatives of the state - protecting black criminals from a legal system they've deemed not just racist, but replete with implicit bias.

Oh, it's true. [Baltimore leaders propose mandatory sentence for illegal gun possession, Baltimore Sun, 7-14-17]:

Baltimore leaders on Friday proposed a mandatory one-year sentence for illegal gun possession within 100 yards of a school, park, church, public building or other public place of assembly within the city.
The bill would prevent any part of the one-year sentence from being suspended, and preclude those with such convictions from receiving parole.
Mayor Catherine Pugh said she’d like to do more to restrict guns, but “this is what we can do locally” without changing state law.
Pugh acknowledged that there is a church or a school “on nearly every corner” in the city, and said “as it relates to this legislation, that’s a good thing.”
Police Commissioner Kevin Davis praised the bill as a much-needed change to help the city address its soaring violence. The city is on pace to surpass 300 homicides for the third year in a row. Before 2015, that mark hadn’t been reached in Baltimore since the 1990s.
Police Commissioner Kevin Davis praised the bill as a much-needed change to help the city address its soaring violence. The city is on pace to surpass 300 homicides for the third year in a row. Before 2015, that mark hadn’t been reached in Baltimore since the 1990s.
City council members there in support of the bill were Leon F . Pinkett III, Isaac “Yitzy” Schleifer, and Robert Stokes Sr. Other council members voiced their opposition to the bill Friday, including Ryan Dorsey and Kristerfer Burnett.
Dorsey said the legislation should not be fast-tracked.
“This is not something that we should decide on overnight,” he said. “It’s going to disproportionately impact black people and communities negatively. I haven’t seen any evidence that mandatory minimums actually deter any sort of crime.”
Burnett said the city would be better off increasing funding for Safe Streets and schools to combat violence.
“We should treat violence as a public health issue,” he said.
He argued that mandatory minimums do not decrease crime.
“We are under a lot of pressure right now from community members living in neighborhoods experiencing violence to do something,” Burnett said. “I don’t want to minimize their fears, but we have a responsibility to enact good policy as well.”
Some criminal justice reform advocates and defense attorneys also expressed opposition to the bill.
Councilman Brandon Scott, chair of the public safety committee, said he believes there are good intentions behind the bill, but he also has some concerns that must be discussed as he and his colleagues consider the legislation.
“We know mandatory minimums have been specifically shown to overwhelmingly impact poor black people, and in Baltimore we know that we have an unfortunate abundance of poor black people, particularly poor black men who have already been impacted by mandatory minimums,” Scott said.
“We have to figure out how to make sure that those violent repeat offenders who feel comfortable carrying guns are being punished, but at the same time we cannot have things that are going to make things worse when you’re talking about the grand scheme of young poor black people in our city.”
Baltimore State’s Attorney Marilyn J. Mosby, whose office often strikes plea deals with gun offenders in which the offenders receive sentences of less than a year in prison, was not at the press conference.
In response to questions about the bill and its potential impact on plea negotiations, her office released a statement that did not mention the bill. It said Mosby is “committed to holding criminals who wreak havoc in our city accountable for their actions and support all efforts intended to strengthen gun control.”

Not once, but twice we get an admission black people are responsible for virtually all the crime/gun crime in 70 percent black Baltimore.

Mind you, Baltimore was 88 percent white in 1917.

You'd think elected officials would want to get criminals off the streets to attract businesses into the city, because 70 percent black Baltimore is in desperate need to expand its tax base. You'd think they'd be delirious of attracting citizens to the city who could help save the crumbling housing stock, a byproduct of an neglectful black population uninterested in maintaining residential property white people long ago abandoned.

But no, we get, "disproportionately impact black people," and mandatory one-year sentences for illegal gun possession will perpetuate the cycle of systemic racism because, "mandatory minimums have been specifically shown to overwhelmingly impact poor black people."

You can have western civilization or you can have a black population.

It's one or the other.

Baltimore in 2017, a 70 percent black city where elected black officials protect black criminals from being held accountable for their lawless actions, is a powerful reminder of this option.

Civilization or Africa.

Baltimore has a nonfatal shooting/homicide problem because of blacks, which is also why businesses hide their employees behind plexiglas (or is it plexiglass?) in the 70 percent black city.

From 98% White in 1960 to 94% Black in 2017: Median Home Values Drop 84% in East Cleveland over 57 Years as Blacks Replace Whites

The Visible Black Hand of Economics meets one of its most important case studies: East Cleveland.

The Suburban Racial Dilemma: Housing and Neighborhoods, a book published in 1994 by William Keating about East Cleveland, Ohio, is a lost classic.
A city where H.P. Lovecraft's The Horror at Red Hook and The Street came to macabre life

It has this captivating passage about the first suburb of Cleveland, which was 98 percent white in 1960, and was on the verge of a huge influx of black people while white residents simply abandoned the city to live in a brand new city (free of blacks):

In 1962 the city manager convened a citizens group to discuss the racial transition in East Cleveland. This resulted in the following proposals:

1. open access to the city manger's office as a forum for the discussion of race and community issues;
2. initiation of a study to show that housing prices increase following black home purchases and communicating this information to white homeowners;
3. strengthening municipal services; and
4. strict enforcement of housing codes.

However, Apthorp made no public pronouncements concerning these proposals, racial transition in neighborhoods, or white fears. He also made no further attempt to deal forcefully with the real estate industry, which felt no pressure to discontinue practices that resulted in white flight and racial segregation. Apthorp believed that any problems arising from racial transition would be overcome simply by maintaining East Cleveland's reputation for good government. He met with group of concerned white residents, but this did not quell the fears of many about racial transition.

To his credit, Apthrop did nothing to prevent black migration to East Cleveland. However, instead of an orderly transition to racial diversity, what eventually resulted was resegregation. (p. 81)
Yes, the white city leaders of 98 percent white East Cleveland were prepared to commission a study showing black residents magically helped appreciate home values in once all-white communities.

Absolutely insanity (and evil), especially when we learn East Cleveland is now 94 percent black and Euclid Avenue is home to a business called Black on Black Crime Inc., an organization founded in 1972 to "help stop violence within the black community."

1n 1960, East Cleveland was 98 percent white. Median home values were $15,100 (in 2017, inflation shows us the value is $124,846.90).

In 2017, East Cleveland is 94 percent black. Median home values are $20,660 (in 2017 dollars)
The consequences of a black population replacing a white population? An 84 percent drop in residential property valuations (adjusted for inflation).

And yet, in the early 1960s, the white city leaders of almost all-white East Cleveland were prepared to commission the "initiation of a study to show that housing prices increase following black home purchases and communicating this information to white homeowner..."

America, folks, is irredeemable.

In 1960, East Cleveland, Ohio was 98% White. In 2017, East Cleveland is 94% Black and a Black Councilman is Sleeping in Tent to try and Stop the Violence

East Cleveland, Ohio is one of the worst cities in America.

It's less than six percent white and nearly 94 percent black

Interesting, it was the city of Cleveland's first suburb, home to the Rockefeller's and "Euclid Avenue was regarded as one of the most beautiful streets in the world, known as 'the showplace of America.'"

But this was an East Cleveland that was all-white.
Pitching a tent to stop black crime in 94 percent black East Cleveland, Ohio

East Cleveland now is almost entirely devoid of whites. Even though it was once home to the titans of American industry, it is now home to Africans in America and the city is nothing more than a reflection of the type of community blacks make in the absence of whites.

Which brings us to this. [East Cleveland councilman pitches tent to protest, 'calm down some of the violence', Cleveland19.com, July 10, 2017]:
Three weeks ago, an East Cleveland home was riddled with at least five stray bullets. Around that same time, four teens were hit by bullets on a corner near that house. Instead of hanging out at East Cleveland City Hall, one councilman is making a stand by pitching a tent near that corner.
Steven Cebaliss' house was the one hit with stray bullets. He says the gun play has put his neighborhood on edge.
"One got shot about seven times. A few other boys got shot -- they was just standing there, drive by," he said. "Anybody could have been walking through there."
East Cleveland councilman Ernest Smith, of Ward 3, is not sitting in a tent for his health -- he's putting himself at great risk by camping out in the lot near Allegheny and Orinoco. He says the violence is way out of hand.
"A young 12-year-old girl shot on Northfield, just two streets over. A lot of shootings happen in this area," he said. "I'm just out here to be a presence, to try and calm down some of the violence that's been going on because a lot of youngsters in this area, they will talk to me for some reason."
He said there hasn't really been a youngster hanging on the corner since he's been there.
"They come by, they speak, and they keep going -- it's just time for those who care to get out here on the street with our youth. I understand that our youth are our neighbors. They are not our enemies. Sometimes you have to go into a world to bring them out," Smith said.
Smith, who lives in the neighborhood, wants to inspire the teens by setting a good example.
"I'm a man of the people," he said. "So, I've had mostly people come out to visit, bring me water, apples, good prayers."
Smith says Mayor Brandon King, elected during a recall, and School Board President/former judge Una Keenon have dropped by the tent. But Smith says things will change for the better when the people take a stand to stop the violence.
East Cleveland was once all-white and thriving. Euclid Avenue was known as the "showplace of America."

Now?

East Cleveland is now 94 percent black and Euclid Avenue is home to a business called Black on Black Crime Inc., an organization founded in 1972 to "help stop violence within the black community."

Every fear whites had of a black population moving into East Cleveland has come true.

In 64% White/18% Black Minneapolis, Blacks Represented 85% of Arrests for Nonfatal Shootings Between 2009-2014

As of the 2010 U.S. Census, Minneapolis, MN is 64 percent white and 18 percent black. It's roughly 10 percent Hispanic and five percent Asian.

Why bring this up?
Welcome to 18 percent black Minneapolis...

Because the INITIAL DATA ASSESSMENT Crime: Victims, Suspects, and Arrests2009-2014 was put out by the Minneapolis Police Department and it is devastating when it comes to exposing the racial reality of crime in this 64 percent white/18 percent black city.

Here's the key data:

  • Between 2009 - 2014, Blacks were arrested for 69 percent of the Homicide, Rape, Robbery, and Aggravated Assaults in Minneapolis. Whites represented 15 percent of the arrests for the same violent crimes.
  • Between 2009 - 2014, Blacks were 79 percent of the arrests for homicide with a firearm. Whites represented six percent of the arrests and 15 percent of the victims.
  • Between 2009 - 2014, Blacks were 85 percent of the arrests for non-fatal shootings. Whites represented five percent of those arrested for non-fatal shootings (and eight percent of the victims).
Violent crime has a color in Minneapolis, and the color is black.
Once again, the color of crime is black in an 18 percent black city...

Gun crime has a color in 64 percent white Minneapolis...
